Two more successes in Russia and Ukraine
We signed contracts with departments in Kaliningrad, Russia, and Donetsk, Ukraine.
In Eastern Europe, there is great potential for replacing animal experiments in higher education with animal-free teaching methods. Thus, animal lives can be saved with relatively simple means. Many teachers are open to modern computer-aided education. Mostly there is only a lack of information and financial resources. In cooperation with InterNICHE we provide help on both levels.
Overview of our projects in Ukraine (in German) >>
We signed contracts with departments in Kaliningrad, Russia, and Donetsk, Ukraine.
Within the framework of our successful Eastern Europe project “Saving Animals With Computers” we supported a project to educate students in Belarus.
As part of our project "Saving Animals with Computers", we supported two more universities to implement humane education.
In 2018, we have made 4 new agreements: 2 departments in Ukraine (Zhytomyr, Kyiv) and 2 in Russia (Belgorod, Rostov-on-Don) are taking part in our project.
By funding the development of a software and textbook on pathophysiology we add another important brick to our successful Eastern Europe project.
Three Belarussian universities have already signed agreements with us, and subsequently have switched to animal-free education. After Pinsk and Gorki, now a university in the capital Minsk joined.
In 2016, we equipped three more departments in Krywyi Rih, Kyiv and in Zaporozhye with animal-free teaching materials.
