Doctors Against Animal Experiments inspires with groundbreaking online seminar
How can medications be developed better and faster than with traditional animal testing? How can chemicals be tested to protect human brain development? What opportunities do microphysiological systems, 3D cell cultures, and organoids offer for future research and testing? In a 4-hour live webinar organized by Doctors Against Animal Experiments, eight innovative companies presented their approaches to animal-free research and development. All company presentations are now available on YouTube.
Under the title NATworks, Doctors Against Animal Experiments hosted a free online seminar that attracted more than 220 interested participants. The speakers impressively demonstrated how they work with state-of-the-art technologies and groundbreaking research. They showed how animal experiments can not only be replaced by human-based methods but also how these methods produce more relevant results for humans. At the same time, the webinar provided valuable insights into career opportunities for those looking to work in this innovative field.
In compact 15-minute presentations, the speakers shared their expertise from both practical and scientific perspectives. The presentations provided insights into current research projects and innovative product developments. In addition, breakout rooms offered participants the opportunity for personal interaction and direct questions to the experts.
The webinar was aimed at students, graduates, and anyone interested in animal-free and forward-thinking methods. To cater to an international audience, a live simultaneous English translation was provided, making the event accessible to a broader public. The complete presentations are now also available online.
